Part 107 Pilot/ Photographer

Location: North Alabama / Southern Middle Tennessee (Regional Dispatch) Job Type: Part-Time / Contract

The Role

We are looking for a skilled, FAA-certified Part 107 Drone Pilot to join our team for on-call service missions. This role is perfect for a freelancer or a hobbyist looking to turn pro, specifically focusing on high-end Real Estate and Construction Progress photography/videography.

You’ll be the "boots on the ground" (and eyes in the sky) across the Tennessee Valley, capturing everything from luxury home listings to large-scale commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities

Mission Execution: Travel to various sites across North Alabama (Huntsville, Decatur, Athens) and Southern Middle Tennessee (Fayetteville, Pulaski, Lawrenceburg) for scheduled shoots.
Aerial Capture: Operate UAS to capture high-resolution RAW photos and 4K stabilized video according to project briefs.
Safety & Compliance: Conduct pre-flight checklists, monitor weather, and ensure all flights strictly adhere to FAA Part 107 regulations and local air traffic requirements.
Asset Management: Upload unedited files promptly after missions or handle end-to-end production if you have the editing chops.

Requirements

FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (Required & Current).
Reliable Transportation: Must be willing to travel within a 60–75 mile radius of the Huntsville/Tennessee border area.
Own Equipment: (Preferred) Must have a 4K-capable drone (e.g., DJI Air 3, Mavic 3 Pro, or Mini 4 Pro) with necessary ND filters.
Professionalism: Ability to interact with realtors and site managers on-site with a polished, customer-first attitude.

Bonus Points (The "Plus" Skills)

We love a pilot who can finish the flight and the frame. You’ll move to the front of the line if you have:

Adobe Photoshop: Proficiency in bracketed exposure merging (HDR) and object removal.
DaVinci Resolve: Ability to color grade log footage and create polished marketing edits with transitions and music.
Construction Knowledge: Experience with orthomosaic mapping or site progression reporting.
