Echo Flight Construction

Welcome to the section of our website dedicated to helping contractors save thousands on their next building project.

Our approach is straightforward. We collaborate with every team member to pinpoint any gaps that could hinder meeting crucial deadlines. We assess key factors like gravel and dirt piles, on-site materials, and progress tracking for owners, banks, or any stakeholders monitoring the project's advancement. Prior to commencing the work, we conduct land studies and LiDAR scans to determine the optimal conditions for any property plot.

"From Some Really Cool Pilots"

Interested in integrating drones into your building project?

We start with a clear purpose in mind, we don't just want to take fancy aerial photos.. (Although those are really nice too!)

ColdWater Flight can show you our proven methods and how we use drones for:

  • Weekly progress monitoring - We deploy drone via a pre-programmed WayPoint map to collect the same information on a weekly schedule. We process the information within 24 hours, and it is ready to present in any update or progress meeting with information like:
  • Earthwork level control - Using RTK and our ground map point solution, we can determine elevational horizon levels for ground moving crews. Progress can be saved and placed into a timeline which allows companies to see the progress while maintaining visual control.
  • Pre-inspection site photography - Pre Inspection is really our first step, we complete a full site layout, and plot that throughout the build. To do this, we use our first Pre-inspection as our zero point, and because we conduct the exact mission plan each time we fly the site.
  • Assessing site conditions after weather changes - Most of our customers are companies that are not only not local, their planning department and project managers are also not local. - So when they hear we have had one of our famous Tennessee Valley Storms, they send us out to do a full package to verify things like flooding, electrical, debris, status of materials on-site.
    Let's be One-Double-0
To be honest, we had no clue what we were doing on our first jobs, But then we started seeing that our work was the decision maker for so many facets of this industry.  We learned that focusing on a few practical applications allows your team to quickly recognize the benefits while keeping initial implementation straightforward. This simplicity helps avoid unnecessary complications in the early stages.
Once the workflow is established, scaling becomes much easier.

For example,
In a mid-rise residential project in downtown Huntsville Alabama, our only tasks was to capture weekly images of the roof's progress.

We delivered the product requested every week at the same time.

After a month, the team requested additional services, including:

  • documentation for concrete pouring,
  • facade tracking,
  • and checking material layouts.

New for 2026 - Construction Automation

Land Aerial Plotting

In today’s fast-paced construction industry, drone technology is revolutionizing how projects are planned and executed. Drone construction planning involves using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to enhance various stages of construction, from initial site surveys to ongoing project monitoring. These innovative tools help collect precise data, allowing for better decision-making and improved project outcomes.

Residential Homes

In today's fast-paced world, ensuring your home is energy-efficient and safe is crucial. Home thermal inspections with drones offer an effective solution for identifying issues often missed in traditional inspections. Using advanced thermal imaging, our drones quickly detect temperature variations, revealing potential leaks, insulation gaps, and electrical anomalies that may pose safety risks. Drones can access hard-to-reach areas, reducing inspection time and effort. This thorough assessment minimizes disruption to your daily life. With our cutting-edge technology, you'll receive a detailed report on areas of concern, empowering you to make informed repair and upgrade decisions. Don’t compromise your home’s comfort and safety; choose our drone thermal inspection services today!

Progress Monitoring

In the fast-paced construction world, monitoring project progress is vital for success. Commercial Construction Drone Monitoring offers a cutting-edge solution to boost oversight and efficiency. Utilizing advanced drone technology, we capture high-resolution aerial imagery and real-time data of your sites. This helps project managers and stakeholders visualize progress, spot issues early, and make informed decisions.

Drones can quickly cover large areas, providing a comprehensive overview that traditional methods can't match. Our services include detailed site surveys, volumetric calculations, and precise 3D models, essential for effective planning and resource management. Our skilled drone operators ensure safety and compliance while offering analytics that optimize projects.

Thermal Inspections

With our state-of-the-art drone technology, you'll receive a comprehensive report that details any areas of concern, empowering you to make informed decisions about repairs and upgrades. Don’t compromise your home’s comfort and safety; choose our drone thermal inspection services today!

Bottom Line

Drones have become significant in construction project monitoring. The fast and reliable data they provide has made it a must-have. Businesses making drone workflows a part of their operations will be the ones getting the most out of it now as well as in the future.

This is because the construction industry has always been very quick to adopt new tech and practices. And drones are becoming one of the best practices in the industry.
